Repeated gunshots fired on live TV as ex-lawmaker shot by assassins

Former Politician Assassinated on Live Television. Violence Finds Its Way to Cameras.

Political assassinations remain statistically rare but historically recurring: President Kennedy (1963), Prime Minister Gandhi (1984), Opposition leader Nemtsov (2015). Most occur away from cameras - live broadcast assassinations are exceptionally uncommon but not unprecedented (journalist Alison Parker, 2015).

Whether you watch the footage (you don't need to). Whether you use this to examine your own relationship with political violence and media consumption.

Awareness only. This is a tragedy that happened to specific people in a specific place. Unless you're in that region or personally connected, no action required beyond acknowledging the loss of life.
